The Love Bug/Herbie Movie from 1969? - disney herbie toy car
I wonder what the sports car was driven by the character of the original 1969 film Peter Thorndike in the Walt Disney Love Bug. The car was yellow with blue stripes running in the middle. Looks like an old Jaguar, but I'm not sure. Who knows what year and model will get 5 Statistics and 10 points. Thank you.

The yellow "Thorndike special" Apollo was a GT. Apollo were built in Pasadena, California. The bodies are manufactured in Italy and the United States, which has been shipped and installed aluminum V8 Buick 215 CID. The same company then made a sports car called the Intermeccanica Italia. One of them is in the film by Walt Disney in 1971, one million U.S. dollars Duck.
