What are some albums that you consider to be the artistic peak of a band's career? - artistic album designer
The artistic culmination, not the trade is growing, not when they coincide.

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway "
It is interesting --
I think that U2 was 2 peaks of art, at least.
His first material, culminating in the extraordinary "The Unforgettable Fire" (1984)
Then its economic heyday of the "Joshua Tree" (1987), was actually a very "watered down" version of "Fire" - even if it is a pleasant ride.
Later - With the release of "Achtung Baby" in 1991, U2 seemed to change course.
This brilliant time directly with the imminent release its climax - the remarkable "Zooropa" (1993).
You could probably responsible for the "theory of multiple-peak" in the long run other groups like the Rolling Stones, The Who, King Crimson, etc.
Just a thought:)

The Pelican - "Fire in the throat to the rope-pull" (2005). Despite his new album was good, and I like the fact that they are back in the hard, their first EP, and d 'Australasia' It is sad to think that it is never the same extent as was done in "The Fire. .. . In my opinion, is one of the best albums of all time
Hatebreeder Children of Bodom - (1999). I was never really in them, but their last two albums are not very good. "Hatebreeder" was definitely his best, even if I get a decent pair after us, before it was completely wrong.
Gojira - From Mars To Sirius "(2005). I see them release an album better than this, and his most recent 2008" The Way of All Flesh was very, very good album, but it is hard to beat "From Mars To Sirius . If anyone could do, would be Godzilla, but.
Isis - Panopticon (2004). Another band who play the music incredible, but I do not knoww, if they can beat. However, I hope.
